Dark purple color, woody, earthiness and complex nose with Tobacco Leaf Aroma
Full Bodied, blackcurrant, plum, Alcoholic, Balance Acidic, Excellent Finish.
A touch of cherry at the end, spicy which is come from oak as stated by the winery.

Food: Spicy tomato sauced dishes, Strong Blue cheese and even would be good with a cigar.

2005 Evan & Tate Verdelho, Margaret River, WA

Tasting Note:

Strong New Leather smell, Zesty, Fruity, Light - Medium Body, a very different taste from the other common whites from this classic Western Australia winery.

Price: A$17

Food: It would be good with grilled sea fish or Mild Creamy Brie cheese.

Rating: 83 points

p.s. : I personally suggest that, this wine should be really chilled. ( at least half an hour in the fridge )
